EVENT BARTENDER

JOB DESCRIPTION

 
 

PURPOSE

The Event Bartender position is an event bartending role. The direct supervisor is the  Bar Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Execute necessary pre-event set up per client-specific bar selections

- Stock & maintain inventory. Count inventory at close of event 

- Serve and engage with event guests

- Prepare mixers, batched cocktails, and garnishes.

- Manage bar tab, cash transactions, and POS systems (mobile). 

- Set up and break down of the bar and bar prep room each shift

- Clearing, bussing, washing glass and serviceware

- Take trash out and recyclables

- Review upcoming events on weekly basis

- Complete post event write up for each event

- Attend monthly meetings to prepare for upcoming events

QUALIFICATIONS

The Event Bartender must be a highly organized, efficient individual with a background in the event or restaurant industries and bar/customer service. Qualifications include:

-Minimum high school degree or GED equivalent

- Proficient with all Google platforms

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Excellent verbal communication skills

- Professional demeanor

- Values hospitality

- Reliable attendance  

   -Strong task and time management

CONDITIONS

PAIKKA is an equal opportunity employer. This is a part time seasonal contract position with rates starting at $21/hr. The Event Bartender must be available for a minimum of 8 hours per week. Friday and Saturday daytime and evening availability is required.
