Included in your rental:
Our venue rental fee includes everything you see below. We don’t believe in surprise fees or a bunch of add ons. The only additional fee that can optionally be added to your rental is if you would like cafe lighting installed in the Gold Room.

- 1 Design Meeting (including a custom floor plan)

Center cafe lighting - $500
Full width cafe lighting - $700
The Venue
PAIKKA contains three beautiful spaces with an adjacent courtyard. The Gold and Pink Rooms are separated by 9' tall hanging doors embellished with a custom mural. 5,000 square feet of 1940's steel vaulted ceilings and original brick walls make up PAIKKA's structure. Across the courtyard, our Green Room has been thoughtfully designed for client’s to have a private, lockable space to retreat to during their event.

The Gold Room
The largest room on-site, The Gold Room is the perfect spot for an indoor ceremony, reception, and dancing!

The Pink Room
Full of personality, the Pink Room houses our prep kitchen, bar, and lounge. This space is often used for an indoor cocktail hour.

The Courtyard
Adorned with strung cafe lights, minimalistic landscaping and benches, this space is perfect for an outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour. Our garage doors open right onto the courtyard so your guests can enjoy an indoor/outdoor experience all night.
The Green Room
A bright, light-filled private suite, the Green Room is a perfect spot to get ready in for your big day or to book for a smaller, private event such as a shower or cocktail party.
Food + Beverage
Catering
PAIKKA requires that all clients choose a caterer from those listed below. We proudly support vendors that are value driven, respectful and professional! The vendors on our list are licensed, insured and most importantly, will provide you with incredible service. Catering proposals will reflect a 10% venue fee.
Bar
PAIKKA has developed an easily customizable bar program for your event focused on sustainable, thoughtful, and locally sourced beer, wine and spirits. PAIKKA will prepare and service your entire bar experience. Our bar packages are custom designed based on your preferences. We can’t wait to serve you!
Parking
There is a public parking lot on-site with over 200 spots as well as street parking and nearby access to The Green Line and public transportation.
Insurance
We require Special Event Insurance due to us 30 days prior to your event. Event insurance can be purchased through your own provider or WedSure.
Staffing
PAIKKA requires a professional day-of coordinator or event planner to ensure your event runs as planned and you and your party are relieved of any potentially stressful responsibilities. Your coordinator will be responsible for managing your timeline, decor, and will provide support during a room flip and final cleanup. At least one catering and bar staff must be hired until the end of the venue rental period.
For the entirety of your rental period, a PAIKKA Site Manager will also be on-site to oversee vendor and guest arrival, ensure that our space and equipment are working effectively, that vendors understand expectations, and that the property is being respected. This service supports success for our clients and safety for guests, vendors and neighbors. Please note that PAIKKA staff do not act as a day-of coordinator or event planner.
Rental Period
Included in your rental is 12-hours of access to the venue. You choose your preferred rental period, with the last hour reserved for cleanup. Music can be played as late as 12am.
Planning your event
PAIKKA prioritizes clients’ freedom to customize their event! A Design Meeting will take place 2-3 months prior to your event. This meeting is run by PAIKKA staff who specialize in helping you articulate your overall vision. They will create a custom floor plan based on your ideas and designs as well as offer suggestions on layout, work through vendor logistics and refer you to appropriate vendors.
Reserving a date
Once you have toured the venue, we offer complimentary one-week soft holds on a date of your choosing. In order to officially book a date, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your event date.
