Corporate Sales Director

About the Role:
As our Corporate Sales Director, you will be responsible for booking and managing corporate and nonprofit events while also developing an in-house event program featuring conferences, cultural events, and more. This role is perfect for a creative, strategic thinker who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively to grow our venue’s presence in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Proactively identify and engage corporate and nonprofit clients to book events at our venue.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with businesses, organizations, and event planners.
Network at industry events, conferences, and community gatherings to promote the venue and procure new business.
Drive revenue growth by securing new bookings and expanding our client base.
Event Programming & Development:
Conceptualize and implement an in-house event series (e.g., conferences, speaking panels, artist markets/fairs, cultural events).
Partner with local businesses, artists, and thought leaders to curate compelling event experiences.
Collaborate with PAIKKA Staff to ensure successful execution of events.
Client & Venue Management:
Guide clients through the booking and planning process, ensuring a seamless experience.
Work closely with vendors and partners to coordinate event logistics.
Maintain detailed records of inquiries, bookings, and client communications.

Requirements:
Proven experience in event sales, venue management, business development, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to strategize and execute sales and marketing initiatives.
Experience working with corporate and nonprofit clients is a plus.
Familiarity with event management software and sales tracking preferred.
Compensation:
Commission-based with competitive earning potential plus monthly retainer. Negotiable
